Empathy is removed from the Default installed due to slow development. Now I'm Going to show you how to install empathy messenger in ubuntu 18.04 / 18.10

Here are the Features of Empathy messenger(source Wikipedia)

How to install empathy in ubuntu 18.04 /18.10





How to install Empathy in Ubuntu 18.04 :


  • Press Ctrl + Alt + T to open Terminal
  • In Terminal Type the Following Command:
    • sudo apt-get install empathy
  • That's all. You have successfully installed Empathy in ubuntu 18.04


To Remove Empathy in Ubuntu 18.04 :



  • Press Ctrl + Alt + T to open Terminal
  • In Terminal Type the Following Command:
    • sudo apt-get remove empathy
  • That's all. You have successfully removed Empathy from ubuntu 18.04
